Hi, I’m Farah Morain, LCSW, SEP
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner in New York who supports women in slowing down, releasing what their bodies have been holding, and reconnecting with the grounded, steady version of themselves they’ve been missing.
I work with women who are overwhelmed, burnt out, and carrying far more than anyone realizes. Together, we gently unravel the stress, trauma, and emotional patterns that keep you in survival mode, so you can move through the world with more ease, clarity, and confidence.
My approach is gentle, collaborative, and grounded in mind-body-spirit healing. I blend Somatic Experiencing, Attachment Focused-EMDR, and nervous system regulation practices to help you soften tension, process what’s been weighing on you, and feel supported without the pressure to have everything figured out.
This is a space where you can finally exhale.

Trauma can come from painful experiences in adulthood or early relationships that didn’t offer the safety you needed. You may notice patterns of over giving, feeling responsible for everyone, or struggling to trust support. Together, we gently process painful experiences, release what your nervous system has been holding onto, and rebuild a deeper sense of trust, stability, and inner safety.
